I feel the City of Commerce takes care of their residents, especially the elders and the children. It has always been a family oriented city with alot of perks. Buses are free and Commerce offers many perks to its residents which includes a full gym and Olympic pool, several programs and many trips. I would recommend Commerce to any family. The crime has changed with the times but for the most part it is still safe to walk down the street at night. Residents still look out for each other.
I love this city it's mostly industrial and quiet but there have been two recent homicides in this city and I am shocked it hasn't been reported but they do report GTA or other common crimes but then locals who have lived here longer have said to me that the Commerce Casino pays the Sheriff's not to report these crimes in order to make the city appealing and not scare off business. I hope LA Times investigates this.
so many great services for those who live and work in commerce
Nice quite place fun for your kids to grow up in.
Not bad if you don't mind living next to a railroad track or major freeway
Funny how they fail to mention the residential burglaries that have been happening....Makes you wonder
it has a small town feel to it which can be good and bad at the same time, free bus transportation within the city limits 4 parks 4 libraries, Aquatorium, cabins in Lake Arrowhead Commerce night at both the Dodgers and Angles stadiums. it is nice to be a Commerce resident.
