This area is getting safer day by day, it's just really boring here. A Dairy Queen or Starbucks would be nice. Too much fried chicken here -.-
I'm a student at USC and have been for 3 years. Last night there was a shooting on my block, with two people getting shot by a black male covered in tattoos who just walked into a party. This is the 3rd incident on my block involving a deadly weapon since the beginning of summer. The suspect descriptions that USC sends out always have one thing in common. Would you like to guess what that is?
And you wonder why we, USC students, keep to ourselves Mr. Daniel Morales Leon. This is not a community, this is a zoo
I feel sorry for USC where there is violence allaround them"
This neighborhood is rich in community, we see many USC students come and go, most never get beyond the basic surface of the area. There are several Farmers markets in the area, The rose garden is a place for relaxation, the coliseum is our back yard. Some USC students tend to keep to themselves and never greet their neighbors, I advise those students not to be afraid, we don't bite, we dislike the negativity as much as anyone else, yet that doesn't mean we can't have a sense of pride in our community. visit the mom and pop shops, shop locally, meet the community.
