I had the opportunity to live here from 2001-2011 and it was a good decision. The area is nice and safe and the schools are rated well. It is a "low key" area and really perfect if you want to be away from the "LA Scene". It is "off the beaten path", and a relatively unknown location within LA County, but an excellent area to live.

We moved to La Crescenta 10 years ago for the schools, and have been completely happy with them. Our kids think we live in the mountains, being in La Crescenta, which actually we do.

Lived in North Glendale and La Crescenta for over twenty years and loved it. This is in the middle of two mountains, the Verdugos and Angeles Crest. The views are beautiful, lots of trees and wildlife.

The snow level drops to just above here during the wintertime, but sometimes we've even had snow. The clouds cascade down into the Verdugos

to form the most lovely landscape.

This is the entertainment business person's mountain, country living hidaway. Freeway close to the Burbank Studios and Hollywood.

A very beautiful and nice community to live.

The neighborhood feels very removed from your typical "LA" vibe. Nice retreat from the city, yet still a stones throw from downtown.

This area is great because it still feels like a small community away from the real hustle and bustle but yet it is freeway close making it convenient for commuting. The schools are performing very well in this area as well, making it a great choice for homeownership because this helps keep the property values steady. In addition the area offers many forms of outdoor recreation close at hand;Parks, Hiking Trails and the Angeles National Forest are all very close-by.
