L.A.'s Eastside: Where do you draw the line?

“ Born and raised, 2d generation Californian. East LA and El Monte Legion Stadium, tacos, Whittier Boulevard. Silverlake is Silverlake, Echo Park is really little Tiajuana, deserving of no real recognition (tho' they just cleaned the lake, at last!) and Los Feliz is home to the stars. Ask them if they prefer to be on the "eastside" or in Los Feliz ?

The newbies can't be serious, there is so much cultural history there.
