L.A.'s Eastside: Where do you draw the line?

“ In my experience, the Eastside include the communities of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno, East Los Angeles and the cities of Montebello, Commerce and Pico Rivera.

Historically, ethnically and culturally, the area that comprises the Eastside is mainly Latino, predominately Mexican and Mexican-American, and working-class striving to become middle-class. As a group, the people who live or once lived in the Eastside are proud of their community and what it represents.
