L.A.'s Eastside: Where do you draw the line?

“ East of the Los Angeles River. Yes, Los Angeles has a river. I had to say those exact words to a transplant one time. In this same conversation I was also teaching a lifelong westsider where the Real Eastside starts.

Westsiders think the world ends around La Brea. We need to teach them and the transplants they're misinforming the history of our city.
