L.A.'s Eastside: Where do you draw the line?

“ the east side is east of the river and includes slivers of areas just past east la, but not too far past east la. it includes the OG east la (Lincoln heights) and el sereno, boyle heights and ELA proper. other areas east of LA can be considered east side (i.e. Montebello, mntry park, commerce) but areas west of east la would not be considered east side. you can only be eastside if you are east of the river (or downtown). ” — A M O in the southeast from maywood, Feb. 18, 2014, 10:42 a.m.
